Proceedings of the FEB

Proceedings of FEB in Zagreb are published twice a year, it consists of research papers, translations of research papers and reviews of books and other publications.
Proceedings of FEB include papers of researchers from FEB but also from other institutions and encompass a wide field of economics. The nature of papers varies from theoretical and analytical to the ones dealing with national economic policy to corporate policy of the enterprise.

Journal is annotated in the new Journal Section of the Annotated Listing of new Books department of the September 2007 issue of the Journal of Economic Literature (JEL). In addition the journal has been evaluated and accepted for listing in the AEA electronic indexes, which are included in JEL on CD, e-JEL and EconLit. In short time we plan to publish papers on other major languages.

Authors are expected to contribute to the science of economics in the following research areas:
• tracking the latest accomplishments in the field of economics and their applicability in solving developmental problems of Croatian economy;
• exploring the role of higher education in economics for the economic development and positioning the Faculty between the state, market and civil society in the integration processes;
• the position of small countries in the integration processes in Europe and globalization processes worldwide;
• analysis of growth factors and structural changes in Croatian economy;
• ensuring continuous balanced growth of Croatian economy;
• removing obstacles for economic development, increasing the quality of life and environment protection;
• comparative development analysis of neighbouring countries and analysis of comparative competitiveness of the economy; • harmonization of financial and real sector of the economy;
• research and forecasting of market conjuncture;
• methods of entrepreneurship improvement, business efficiency and enterprise competitiveness;
• market and state efficiency and establishing an appropriate institutional infrastructure.
